Former UTPA Baseball Coach Alfred Ogletree honored
Alfred H. Ogletree who served as head coach from UTPA from 1969 to 1997 and was later inducted into the UTPA's inaugural Athletics Hall of Fame was recognized with a resolution in honor of his legacy.
Ogletree, who passed away on June 24, at the age of 89, was remembered for a legacy of excellence in the field of baseball and for his work with young athletes. In attendance were representatives from the UTRGV Athletics Department as well as family friends prior to attending services celebrating the coach's life.
