For sheer entertainment, sure there are fireworks July 4; but for the real deal, political fireworks can’t be beat. Especially, when it comes to the political rockets launched in most Valley cities, big, medium, and small whenever election season rolls around.
A big election is on tap this November in the City of Alamo, long a hotbed of political drama. To underscore the point, I hearken back to the 1990s when Alamo had not one, but two police chiefs…AT THE SAME TIME.
Even your favorite Novella couldn’t top that scenario. Throw in a bunch of lawsuits, and fire up the keyboard, because news reporters had something to report.
