HIGINIA L. HERNANDEZ

ALAMO - Higinia L Hernandez, 78, died Saturday, August 4, 2018, in McAllen.
Born in Alamo, she lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo C. Hernandez; her parents, Luciano Q. and Sara E. Leal; two brothers, Estevan Leal and Jesus Leal.
Mrs. Hernandez is survived by five siblings, Pedro “Pete” Leal, Maria Luisa Leal Perales, Inez Leal, Guadalupe L. (Hector) Reyes, all of Alamo, and Carolina E. Leal of McAllen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
