Meanwhile current EDC board is auditing past financial activity

It only takes about five minutes, make it two, of looking at former EDC Director Agustin “Gus” Garcia’s Facebook page to make it clear that he isn’t a fan of Edinburg’s current mayor, Richard Molina.
One recent post by Garcia reads: “Citizens of Edinburg, Molina knows the END IS NEAR….Molina is grasping at everything at this point. Desperation is an ugly consequence when we ASPIRE TO DESCEND.”
In an oblique reference to Molina and the new mayor’s claims that his political opponents should also be investigated for voter fraud, not just his supporters, Garcia posts May 28th: “A criminal will do anything to discredit his or her accusers and those bringing them to justice.”
In a May 26th post, “Gus” Garcia posts on his FB page, referring again to Molina: “You are simply unfit and woefully unqualified to be the Mayor of Edinburg, and you did not win it legitimately or legally. The eyes of Edinburg and the Texas Rangers are upon you.”
