Mayor says all he wants is a fair sha

EDINBURG -- The Texas Rangers have arrested four people to date and charged them with voter fraud tied to last November’s city council election. Those arrested include Jose Antonio Vela II, 27; Veronica Vela Saenz, 45; Maria Aleman, 35; and Crystal Lee Ponce. All were charged with basically the same crime: falsifying a voter registration application form. In other words, lying about where they actually lived so they could vote in the November election.
Mary Alice Palacios, former JP and aunt to the Hidalgo County DA, kicked this investigation into gear last December when she compiled allegations of voter fraud and sent them to the Texas Secretary of State, so
