MARIA DE LA LUZ GALAVIZ VILLA
EDINBURG – Maria De La Luz Galaviz Villa, 94, went home to our Lord Monday, August 7, 2017 at her residence in Edinburg.
Born and lived her entire life in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Genaro Villa Sr.; a son, Rogelio Villa; and her parents, Felix and San Juanita Galaviz.
Mrs. Villa is survived by three sons, Fernando (†Linda) Villa, Genaro Villa Jr., and Armando (Margarita) Villa all of Edinburg; three grandchildren, Lisa Villa, Melissa Villa, Rolando Villa; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
