They’re baaaack.
Las Politiqueras: have they once again landed in McAllen?
They’ve been gone since at least 2005 when the mail-in ballot count numbered approximately 1,000, of which approximately 750 went to one candidate alone (he lost in the subsequent runoff to Richard Cortez).
The Advance News has sent a public information request to the City of McAllen earlier this week to get an up-to-date count, but according to one city source, the mail-in ballots have already surpassed the 300 mark.
