World-famous horseman is also first-rate musician

Anyone who has attended local parades over the years has seen Al Ragusin in action. Actually, Al and one of his horses. He bills himself as “Owner and Trainer of the only Real Dancing Horses in the World.” Now, however, he’s hanging up his bridle and grabbing hold of his bongo drums, and he is opening a new entertainment club in north McAllen, which is set to open June 1.
“I’m calling it RagAzeen & Company,” says the horseman. “There’s not going to be anything like it around. The music played inside will feature most of the real oldies that have sold more than 10 million records.
