EDINBURG – This story is being written Monday, Dec. 31, so things can happen between now and Wednesday, Jan. 2nd, but as it now stands, two relatively newsworthy cases are scheduled for court hearings Wednesday.
The first involves Hidalgo County Precinct 4, Place 2 Justice of the Peace Homero “Homer” Jasso, Sr. There was a warrant signed last Thursday, Dec. 27, by an Edinburg municipal judge for the arrest of the longtime JP which was tied to an alleged hit and run (see last week’s front-page story Dec. 26th).
