The Donna ISD Board of Trustees voted last Tuesday, March 6, to rescind its earlier vote taken just the week prior to hire Jesus “Jesse” Muñiz as the district’s new chief financial officer (CFO).
As mentioned in a story published last week in The Advance News Journal, Board President Efren Ceniceros said because it was a personnel matter, he was not at liberty to discuss the reason why the vote to rescind Muñiz’s job offer had been placed on the March 6 agenda.
