SJ mayor and his employer dispute one another

EDINBURG -- The Hidalgo County Adult Probation Office is a hot topic these days, especially since two of its probation officers were recently fired amid an investigation for possible theft and bribery.
Adding further fuel to the fire is the question: was one of the probation officers San Juan’s new mayor, Mario Garza, who was only sworn into office approximately five weeks ago?
