PSJA ISD’s Carmen Anaya Elementary in South Pharr dedicated its new school garden in honor of former PSJA Education Foundation President Joel “Joey” Gonzalez during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 27.
Gonzalez’s family, friends, and representatives from the PSJA Education Foundation joined Anaya students and staff as they remembered his work and contributions to the PSJA Family.
