18-year-old charged with DWI manslaughter

ALAMO -- Two men were killed last weekend in what Alamo police are describing as manslaughter caused by an intoxicated driver: 18-year-old Juan Manuel Quintero Reyes.
Quintero faces three charges: Driving While Intoxicated (one); and Intoxication Manslaughter with Vehicle (two).
Quintero also broke another state law: he consumed alcohol. In Texas, as is the case in the rest of the U.S., the minimum age to consume alcohol, sans parental permission, is 21.
