Super Bowl L (that’s 50 for most of today’s students who can’t decipher Roman Numerals caused, no doubt, by the stupid standardized tests shoved down their throats): Go, Denver.
If the team can pull it off, Peyton Manning, 39, will become the oldest QB to win the the NFL Championship. He turns 40 next month.
So far, going into this year’s Super Bowl, the Carolina Panthers are a 4-point pick over Denver. By the time the game is over, I’m hoping the score is: Denver, 40; Carolina, 0. Why? Because I can’t stand Panther QB Cam Newton, which of course, according to Newton, makes me a racist.
