Trump's Mistakes?

By Thomas Haughey

In last week's final debate the media focused in particular on Donald Trump's statement that he would decide after the election as to whether he would accept the election night results. Hillary, for her part, considered his answer as positively un-American and a slap at the Democratic system. But was it? On election night in 1960, Richard Nixon was presented with evidence that serious voter fraud in Chicago, in West Virginia, and in Texas had cost him the election. For what he considered the good of the nation he ignored the fraud and accepted Kennedy's victory.
