The Transition

The attacks have begun again. It has been alleged, for example, that the Trump transition team is in disarray, is way behind schedule finding people to fill rolls in the new administration, and is selecting racists for some of the slots. But is there substance to these allegations? Just for fun let's compare the Clinton Administration's transaction activities with those of Trump. In his book "Unlimited Access", Gary Aldrich (the FBI agent in charge of White House background checks) laments the fact that the Clintons made appointments BEFORE supplying the FBI with the names of potential appointees. He also mentions that the FBI didn't get any list at all until the vacation period between Christmas and New Years, when it was extremely difficult to do background checks because government buildings holding records were closed and the appointees themselves were on vacation.
