ERNESTA ARISPE

SAN JUAN – Ernesta Arispe, 90, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her three sons, Leonel Arispe, Guadalupe Arispe, Jr., and Eduardo Arispe.
Ernesta is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Arispe, Sr. of San Juan; five daughters, Orfelinda Hernandez, Gloria (Hector) Garcia, Soledad (Rolando) Guzman, Cruz Arispe, Janie (Adrian) Medrano, all of Edinburg; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, Jan. 25, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Aposento Alto in San Juan. Interment followed at San Juan Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Hector Garcia, Mark Hernandez, Gustavo Garcia, Alejandro Medrano, Johnny Ochoa, Jacob Molina and Kyle Bizzell.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
