EFRAIN “MUDO” NAVA

PHARR – Efrain “Mudo” Nava, 61, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at his residence in Pharr.
Born in Edinburg, Mr. Nava had lived in Pharr most of his life. Efrain will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Efrain is preceded in death by his mother, Corina Guerra.
He is survived by his father, Luciano Guerra of Pharr; four brothers, Gustavo Nava, Arnoldo (Lupita) Guerra, both of Pharr, Odilon (Cris) Guerra of Puerto Rico, TX, David (Mari) Guerra of Alamo; three sisters, Irma (Robert) Garza of Mission, Sulema (Anastacio) Neiro, Delfina (Jesus) Islas, both of Pharr; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
