Judge rules against City of Pharr

PHARR – Pharr city employee Dahlia “Dolly” Ybarra is once again, off and running with her lawsuit in hand, claiming that she is a victim of sexual harassment. No, she never reported the alleged sex harassment to the city’s HR department when it allegedly occurred, but she has two city employees who also sued the city who can back up her claims, according to court filings.
This Monday, March 5th, state District Court Judge Mario Ramirez, Jr., of the 332nd put his John Hancock on an order denying the City of Pharr’s motion to enforce the settlement agreement it thought its insurance-carrier attorney had reached last November with Ybarra’s former attorney of record, Gustavo Acevedo, to the tune of $27,500.
