Don’t just throw away your Christmas tree

McALLEN – Out with the old and in with the new. The McAllen Recycling Center is assisting residents with their after-holiday cleanup by providing Christmas tree drop-off locations.
All natural Christmas trees free of décor and tinsel will be accepted at the following locations:
• Recycling Center located at 4101 N. Bentsen Road, Mon.-Fri. from 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Composting Facility located at 15201 N. 29th Street, Mon.- Fri. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
