MICHAEL ALVARO RAMIREZ
SAN JUAN - Michael Alvaro Ramirez, 33, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at McAllen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Primitivo and Maria Bocanegra; paternal grandparents, Gonzalo and Maria Ramirez; two uncles, Alvaro Bocanegra and Benito “Bene” Bocanegra; and a cousin, Ricardo “Ricky” Bocanegra.
Michael is survived by two daughters, Elsa Nevaeh Ramirez, Precious Mia Ramirez; his parents, Gonzalo and Maria Ramirez, all of San Juan; seven siblings, Maritza (Eliud) Martinez of San Juan, Maria Del Carmen (Luis) Balderas of Mission, Yvonne Yvette (Alex) Guevara of McAllen, John Edward (Rosie) Ramirez of Pasadena, Gonzalo (Yesenia) Martinez of Mission, Gonzalo Primitivo Ramirez of San Juan, Anthony Ray (Rose) Ramirez of Pharr; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was known as a giving person. Even in his death, his giving will continue with his organ donations that will touch the lives of many.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, December 25, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
