Edinburg CISD student wins Region One Holiday Art Contest

EDINBURG – The Region One Education Service Center recently selected a student from the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District as one of the winners of its Annual Holiday Art Contest.
Maritza Flores, a sophomore at Economedes High School, won the top spot in the High School Division of the competition that included hundreds of entries. This year’s themes for the art contest were “A South Texas Holiday” or “A Border Holiday.”
