Driver awaits prison fate: 2 to 6 years

EDINBURG -- The prison-sentencing date for 28-year-old Ciro Manuel Treviño, son of Pharr-based Attorney Gregorio Treviño, has been re-scheduled from Oct. 10 to Oct. 26.
Treviño is facing a state prison sentence of between two and six years after pleading guilty Sept. 6 to two felony counts: “Racing on highway causing serious bodily injury; and racing on a highway causing death.”
