Edinburg CISD once again exceeds all South Texas districts in TEA academic accountability ratings

EDINBURG – The Texas Education Agency announced Tuesday that all Edinburg CISD schools Met Standard and 12 of those schools also earned all possible distinction designations in 2017 accountability ratings. This is the second consecutive year that ECISD has more schools with distinctions than any other school district in South Texas.

According to TEA, more than 400 campuses that achieved a Met Standard rating in the 2017 state accountability ratings also earned all distinction designations applicable to their individual school.
