Two Parties, Two Versions of Truth

I found it very interesting this week listening to Donald Trump explain his tax policies and to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer explain why those policies were the opposite of what the President says they are. Clearly, although Chuck and the Donald both work in the same city, they appear to reside on different planets.

Schumer says that Trump’s proposed tax policies will kill the middle class, coddle the wealthy, and increase the national debt by trillions. The President says his policies will ultimately reduce deficits, will provide tax relief to the middle class, and will eliminate loopholes that the wealthy exploit. You can’t get much further apart than that.
