Currently, two slates are running in the Pharr race that will seat three city commissioners: Pharr Forward, which the mayor supports; and Pharr Strong, which is supported by the old guard, AKA, the ones who lost the 2015 race to the current mayor, “Amos” Hernandez, and City Commissioners Eleazar Guajardo and Ricardo Medina.

Pharr Forward is comprised of Carrillo, running for Place 2; Ramiro Caballero, Place 3; and Daniel Chavez, Place 4.
