Walking Club second at USATF Jr. Nationals

The South Texas Walking Club Turtles lost its first-ever USATF Jr. Olympic National Racewalking Championship within the past 12 years. The Illinois Elgin Sharks, which had been attempting to devour the Turtles for years, were finally able to get their revenge. Coach A.C. Jaime was unable to attend this competition because of unexpected circumstances. However, the team was accompanied by his very capable first assistant, Gonzalo Flores and his wife, club president Diana Flores.
