Hidalgo County Precinct 2 includes Pharr, San Juan and Hidalgo. Also, half of McAllen, a little part of Alamo and a slightly less piece of Donna. Who’s going to be its next county commissioner will be decided next Tuesday in the Democratic Primary. Or will it? With three legitimate candidates in the race, a run-off appears likely. Interviewed by phone earlier this week, each of the three candidates sound off going into next Tuesday’s grand finale. They appear in the same order their names appear on the ballot.
