Former Shary ISD finance guru only lasts a week at Donna ISD?

Last week, Shary ISD’s former assistant superintendent of business and finance, Jesus “Jesse” Muñiz, had a new job at Donna ISD as its new chief financial officer. The sky was bright and sunny, and the pay, no doubt, decent.
Then the sky unexpectedly turned gloomy, and without warning, the school board posted an action item on the special board meeting
agenda for this Tuesday, March 6, which read: “Discussion regarding rescinding previous vote for selection of new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).”
In other words, Muñiz’s new job may have lasted only one week, which has to be some sort of record for fewest days on the job by a newly appointed school administrator. His contract hadn’t even been inked.
