When some people resign, if you have enough news sources, you can usually find out if it is really a resignation or a “resignation.”

Big difference between the two. A resignation is when someone gets fed up with something. A “resignation” is actually a job termination disguised as a real resignation, which works for both sides of the equation. The employer doesn’t have to pay unemployment or face a lawsuit for possible wrongful termination, and the employee never has to declare that they were ever fired from a job.
