Fireworks expected Friday at 5 p.m.

McALLEN – The high school football season is still a long away, but there is bound to be some head banging, verbally speaking, this Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. On tap: a grievance filed by a central office employee against Superintendent “Jay” Gonzalez. At issue: whether or not Gonzalez had asked the employee (the complainant) who filed the grievance to help him unseat Board Trustee Larry Esparza in the upcoming election scheduled for May.
