Edinburg CISD Board honors 41 academic performing schools

EDINBURG – The Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees recently recognized all 41 of the district’s schools for achieving a Met Standard accountability rating from the Texas Education Agency for the sixth consecutive year.
Edinburg CISD is also one of only 58 districts to earn a postsecondary readiness distinction out of more than 1,200 school districts and charters in the state. Additionally, ECISD is the only school district among those with 30,000 plus students to receive this recognition in the state.
